After recording videos for training and information purposes for your audiences, do you want to edit the camcorder recorded training videos in Final Cut Pro, burn training videos to DVD or upload videos for sharing? As some of the AVCHD cameras or camcorders may not work perfectly on Mac, we need third party Mac applications like Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac to convert AVCHD videos to MOV for iDVD, and then burn to DVD on Mac OS X like 10.6 Snow Leopard, 10.5 Leopard and 10.4 Tiger.

The follow guide will show you how to convert and burn recorded training videos to DVD on Mac OS X.
Step 1. Load AVCHD videos to Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac.
After transferring the AVCHD videos from camcorder to Apple computer hard drive, run Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac as the fast avchd training video converter on Mac Snow Leopard, and click the “Add” button to load the .mts or .m2ts videos.
Step 2. Choose H.264 MOV output format.
Click the “Format” option, and choose Adobe Premiere/Sony Vegas > MOV (AVC)(*.mov) as output format. The Mac camcorder video converter will rewrap MTS to MOV with H.264/AVC codec and original High-Def resolution according to the source video at 1920×1080, 1440×1080 or 1280×720.

Step 3. Merge AVCHD training video. (optional)
With only one click to the “Merge into one file” checkbox, the training video joiner will combine and merge video clips into a single file as output.
Step 4. Convert camcorder recorded video to MOV for iDVD.
Click the convert button under the preview window, and the Mac camcorder training video converter will start batch conversion from AVCHD videos to MOV for iDVD.
When the conversion is finished, just import the .mov files to iDVD, and click the burn button to start burning training videos to DVD as presentation. You can then easily send the DVD discs to your audience, clients and so on.
Tips:
The workflow to import training video to Final Cut Pro for editing is similar to the above steps. You may also have a look at the specific topic about editing camcorder avchd video in Final Cut Pro or Final Cut Express.
