As a fan of camcorder, I shoot many videos with MTS format. The only problem is some of the videos are so long that I have to cut it into several parts, or some are too short so I have to merge these to a whole one. I tried lots of software, most of which can merge or split, but the quality is horrible. I just need the software which can merge and spit files with the original quality.

Luckily, Aunsoft Final Mate saved me from these problems. It can easily help to merge or split AVCHD files with high quality. And the operation is so easy that I do believe everyone can manage it in seconds

1 Download and install Aunsoft Final Mate

If you are worried about the effect of this software, maybe you can try the free version. The only difference between free and full version is the logo of Aunsoft and the time is limited in 5 minutes.

2 Split one to multiple videos or merge several to one whole video

When the videos are imported, you can choose to merge or split. Suppose you would merge, just drag and drop the chosen videos to timeline and then choose the original format to output. If you would like to split the long video, drop it to timeline and click the split button to cut. Frame-choose control can easily help you to locate.

3 Choose the original format as the output format

MTS files will be exported in seconds as it doesn’t need to recode. And you can also output MKV format without recode. It just costs a few seconds.
